For Chinese Medical Practitioners


How do I sign up for an account?

Because we only fill prescriptions from trained and licensed professionals, we will need your credentials, including a summary of your training and your state license number. We'll also need contact information. Fill out our online form to start the sign-up process.


How do you handle refills?

Each prescription should specify the number of refills allowed. Serenity Herbs and Supplements archives all formulas.  When a prescription specifies multiple refills, patients can contact us directly to refill the formulations that are most beneficial for them. Alternatively, if a practitioner contacts us to order a historical prescription refilled, our dispensary can quickly reference the formula in our records and duplicate it quickly and precisely.


Why Tianjiang granules?

Tianjiang granules do not need to be decocted like raw herbs, and they taste fresher and more natural than Taiwanese granules. Consequently, they have very high patient compliance rates. How do I pay for my herbs?

We offer several payment options for patients.  Patients can pay in person when picking up prescriptions using cash, check, or credit card.  We also accept credit card orders over the phone and PayPal payments.  For first time customers, we do request payment in advance.  Once a patient has used our services, he or she may pay in person when picking up an order at the office.  Before an order is drop-shipped, we do require payment for the prescription and shipping fees.


How quickly can I get my prescription?

We appreciate that patients need to receive their prescriptions promptly.  All orders are filled within 24 hours and patients can arrange to pick up their formulas at our centrally located office or have them drop-shipped directly to their homes.  We generally ship orders via the United States Post Office but are happy to accommodate patients with express services or other carriers when there are special requests, please call us at 520-465-5501 to arrange any other type of shipping service.  An additional fee may charge.  


Do I need a prescription to purchase herbs?

Our Chinese herb granules are available by prescription only. Our wellness products are available without a prescription. If you don't have a Chinese medical practitioner to write a prescription for you, we offer online consultations.


Why do I need an appointment to pick up my prescription?

Our dispensary is a professional dispensary, not a retail store. As such, our pharmacist is not always available to serve customers. Give us a call before you stop by, and we'll make sure to have helpful staff there to assist you.


Wellness Products


Can your wellness products be taken internally?

Lumbex, Fibroleve, Neuroquil, and Traumend are all liniments and are designed to be used topically. WoundWell and all the skincare products are also a topical preparation. Clear Skies is a spray, designed to be used as an air freshener. French lavender and peppermint essential oil can be used in aromatherapy, a kind of complementary medicine that uses smell to improve your health or applied topically to the skin.  None of them should be taken internally.  Herbal Defender, Coronaid, Respirgin, and custom formula can be used internally and should be used under the guidance of a licensed healthcare professional.  All statements are for informational purposes only and have not been evaluated by the FDA.  All our wellness products are not intended to prevent, diagnose, treat, or cure any disease. 




How do you ship?

Orders are typically shipped using USPS. If you wish to use another shipping company and are willing to pay the additional expense, you can call us at 520-465-5501 to make arrangements to do so. 


How much does shipping cost?

We charge a flat rate of $5 for all orders with a US shipping address.  Free shipping on all orders over $49. Wholesale and volume discount plus free shipping is available please contact us for more information.




How much do custom formulas cost?

Custom formulas are priced at a flat rate of $0.32 /gram with a minimum order of 50 grams.  If the prescription contains high doses of expensive herbs, might cost more. 


Why does my shopping cart show $0.32 as the total price for my prescription?

You must fill in the number of grams in your prescription. Open your shopping cart using the button in the upper right-hand corner of any page. In the box labeled "quantity," fill in the total number of grams.


How can I tell how many grams are in my prescription?

The total number of grams should be on your copy of your prescription. If the total is not on the prescription, you can calculate the numbers on each herb to have the total amount,  before you can pay online.




What is the returns policy

Due to FDA regulations, refunds are only available on defective products or for products that are unused and unopened. Defective products may be returned for exchange if you contact us within 15 days of receipt of the product. Non-defective, unopened goods may be returned to us within 30 days of receipt of products and will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. Customers pay for the return shipping fee on non-defective unopened merchandise.


The custom herbal Prescriptions have been formulated to fit patients' individual needs by licensed professional practitioners, We do not accept any returns.


Serenity Herbs and Supplements reserve the right to require proof of purchase or return of the unopened and defective products or both.
